Good afternoon. And happy Friday my fellow golf nut!
I have two of my favorite clients coming to see me this afternoon, but I’m already envisioning cracking a cold one.
The only challenge I have is deciding between two IPAs currently in the office refrigerator.
Speaking of decisions, here’s something I love…
Decisions are a form of progress.
You’ll move faster when you decide faster.
So – instead of spending a bunch of time researching and going from one program to another – just decide. Pick what your gut tells you feels right. And stick with it!
The only caveat is if it’s a massive decision that can’t be easily reversed – (choosing a training program doesn’t qualify as massive).
Too often, research is misconstrued as progress. It’s not. It’s research. It’s a form of procrastination.
Comparing the differences between P90X, Daily Burn, and Sweating to the Oldies for two weeks does not get you any closer to getting into shape. Or, increasing your mobility.
That may be in the dictionary as the definition of spinning your tires…
In other words, not making any real progress.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to stare into the refrigerator and make a well-informed decision to drink either 2nd Shift Brewligans or 2nd Shift Lil’ Big Hop (both local, St. Louis IPAs I’d put up against any I’ve ever enjoyed).
Have a great weekend! And don’t let paralysis by analysis hold you back for one more second.

Jeff Pelizzaro
