💪 Do these 3 things Every. Single. Day.

Happy Day 1 of the Memorial in ye olde Dublin…Ohio.

I’m at the gym preparing for today’s Live coaching call. And it’s shaping up to be a doozy.

All week, we’ve gotten deep in the woods when it comes to actually achieving your goals. Yeah, that sounds like such a throw a way, BS, cliché’ sentence, but stick with me for a minute.

Walk into any bookstore (yeah, they still exist). And notice how friggin’ huge the Self-Help section is. It is enormous.

I’ve read more of those books than I can remember. And the cycle is always the same.

I read the book. Take notes. Get jacked-up for the changes I’m gonna make. The excitement peters out after a week or two. Nothing really happens. And I end up back where I started.

Rinse and repeat.

To be fair, I’m sure a lot of people have changed their lives by finding that one book that, for whatever reason, kicks them in the pants and gets them to move. But, for the most part they are all just repackaging the same principles in a shinier box.

It’s kinda like the Diet section at the bookstore. We don’t need 7,000 books to tell us that if we burn more calories than we eat, we’re going to lose weight.

Let’s get back to the basics. And keep it SIMPLE!

Yesterday, I asked you to choose your mission. In other words, what is your goal? Where do you want to be? When do you want to be there? What are the stakes for you to get there?

Here was my example:

I will do the Daily Motion routine in the 18STRONG App every day for 30 consecutive days because increased mobility means a loose, comfortable, controllable golf swing that will lower my scores.

Today, we’re going to do something very simple…

You ready?

Here’s the question: What do you need to do every day to help you get there?

Earth-shattering, right?

Everything we do has to have a plan. I don’t care if it’s making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Getting the promotion at work. Getting into shape…

Without a plan, your mission is over before it starts.

Right now, I want you to write down three repeatable and measurable actions you can do every day to get you closer to your goal.

So, three things you can do that will make you closer to your goal tomorrow than you are right now.

If you want to drive from LA to NY, here are three things you can do:

  1. Drive east
  1. Put gas in the tank
  1. Get rest

Now, your goal may be a little more complicated, but you get the gist. But seriously, I want you to write it down.

(I can see why Tony Robbins is such an effective speaker…I’m getting jacked up just writing this stuff:)

You’ve got this!

Your #1 Fan,

Jeff Pelizzaro
