💪 How to stay on track during the holidays…

Happy Monday, my fellow want-to-be-leaner, want-to-be-meaner, golf fitness machine!

If you’re one of our Crew here in the USA and haven’t looked at the calendar that closely, you may not have noticed that Thanksgiving is less than a week away!

Growing up in a big family, it has solidified itself as one of my favorite holidays. Lots of family, friends, food and cold suds. It’s all great!

Except…maybe for those who have to travel.

Life on the road can be tough.

You may not have easy access to:

A gym

A kitchen

A healthy restaurant

Geez, sometimes it’s hard to find a grocery store.

That’s why it’s very common for many of us to hit the “pause” button on our healthy habits when we’re away from home – especially a holiday like Thanksgiving when it seems like everyone over-indulges.

I’ve said it. “This is going to be a long week, but I’ll get back at it on that Monday after Thanksgiving.”

That’s ONE way to go.

BUT…

There’s also another option…

Adapt to your situation.

So, this week, we’re going to get you prepared for the upcoming travel season. But, this also applies if you’re on any vacation. Really, anytime you’re away from home and your routine is disrupted.

First thing is to keep training.

In the 18STRONG Membership, you’ll find the Anywhere program that gives you workouts you can do without equipment. And in a 5’X5’ space.

Here are a few things you can do in less than 20 minutes in a hotel room that’ll hit the important areas:

Bodyweight squats (20 reps)

Incline push-ups (15 reps)

1-arm rows (with your suitcase) (10 reps each side)

Reverse crunches (10 reps)

Set your timer for 20 minutes and see how many times you can make it through each circuit.

Okay, so here’s the thing: the point of the workouts is to maintain your momentum. Keep that momentum going, and it’s much easier to get back on track when you get home.

Short workouts and eating right 80% of the time can be magic.

Tomorrow, I’ve wavering between to tips I want to reveal, so you’ll just have to tune-in.

Your #1 Fan,

Jeff Pelizzaro

PS – If you require more of a routine to not only keep your momentum going, but to improve your strength, then I highly encourage you to join the 18STRONG Membership if you haven’t yet.

All the training programs are meant to keep pushing you higher.

You’ve got this!
