Another successful Mandatory Golf Friday in the books this morning. And the weekend is our oyster!
But, before we head off into the fun and sun, let’s finish the week strong (perhaps, 18STRONG?).
So, all week, I’ve been railing on big pharma and their “miracle” drugs. And the diet industry with their “miracle” weight loss programs.
I think we can all agree the aforementioned parties are totally full of s***, so let’s not give them another second of our mental energy – lord knows they don’t deserve it.
Instead, let’s address successful fat loss the good ol’ fashioned way…
Small, sustainable changes stacked on top of one another.
Here’s what I mean…
A few years back, our co-founder Ryan was trying to get to his ideal weight (170-ish). He started in the mid 180s, so it was a significant amount of fat he wanted to lose.
Like most of us, he had tried most diets. But for some reason, something clicked this time and he decided that he was willing to be patient.
He started by skipping breakfast. That was it.
He didn’t change what he ate at lunch and dinner. And he lost fat.
After a few weeks, he started eating healthier meals. Nothing crazy, just cut out a lot of processed foods, but never felt restricted. And he lost fat.
After a few more weeks, he cut out processed foods. And he lost fat.
Fast forward to today, and he has been at his ideal weight for the past 4-5 years. And it’s easy for him.
He rarely eats breakfast. He eats pretty clean. He’ll sometimes eat processed foods, but not a lot. And he enjoys cold suds.
He does what he’s supposed to do 80-90% of the time.
Doesn’t sound like many diets I’ve seen ads for.
Now, to be fair, he is very active. He walks every morning and works out 3-5 times per week. BUT, none of that is going to outwork a bad diet.
So today, ask yourself, “What is one small thing I can change that will make a little difference?”
Make that a habit.
Then rinse and repeat. Before you know it, you won’t notice any ads for diets or fat pills, or worry what size your pants are this week.
If you’re unsure, then we created the 18STRONG Diet Stack for you. The steps are there. You just follow along. And do the work.
Now, have a great weekend!

PS – If I had the answer to this, I’d be a gozillionaire…but there is something that just needs to “click” for you to buy into this principle that works.
It’s different for everyone. And I don’t know what yours is. Hopefully, it’s this email.
In any event, when it does click, I highly, highly encourage you to download the 18STRONG Diet Stack and slowly put it to work for you.
You’ve got this!
