If your body is the problem, then that’s where the fix has to start.
Not more swing thoughts.
Not more reps.
Better inputs.
Here’s something simple to try next time you’re at the range or on the course:
Before you hit your next ball, run this quick sequence:
- 3 slow, controlled practice swings
(feel your balance and position) - 3 faster swings
(focus on speed and freedom)
Then step in and hit.
That’s it.
What you’re doing is telling your body “This is the movement. This is the speed. Now repeat it.”
Instead of just reacting and hoping it shows up.
Most guys skip this step.
They just grab a club and swing, then wonder why it feels different every time.
But when your body becomes more predictable, your swing does too.
That’s the real goal.
Not finding your swing…
Being able to rely on it.
This is exactly the kind of thing we’ve built into the 18STRONG Membership.
So your body shows up the same way every time you step over the ball.
The above exercise works once.
But what we really want is for it to work every time we play.
If you want to start fixing this:
STAY STRONG,
