Happy Tuesday my fellow, lean, mean Golf Digest-reading machine.
You may not know it, but you’re receiving this email from a celebrity trainer.
Check out your boy in Golf Digest talking about “Why This Often-Neglected Region is Crucial For Your Swing”:
I guess this means I’m going to start throwing TVs out hotel windows and demand the staff not make eye contact with me:)
It’s nice to be recognized. And it gives me an excellent opportunity to talk trash to my kids (who could care less). BUT at the end of the day, it’s about The Crew.
So, the crux of the article is stabilizing your pelvis during your golf swing. And why MOST training tends to be one-sided.
For example, “If you just trained the glutes and not the groin, that’d be like always training your chest and never your back muscles.”
By the way, if you only trained your chest without balancing yourself by training your back, you would look just like Quasimodo – and that ain’t good.
So, rather than summarize an already well-written article (with accompanying videos), I highly recommend you Check It Out Here.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a cover shoot for Physical Therapists Turned Golf Trainers Monthly – it’s kind of an obscure publication.
