Changing Directions

Happy Friday! It’s a beautiful day for us to be awesome.

We had a great Crew & Call yesterday if you missed it.

Now on the call, it was subtle, but one of our Crew said something worrisome, then he immediately course corrected.

Chris found 18STRONG toward the end of December. And started with the Fat Loss Blueprint (shameless plug: You can find the Fat Loss Blueprint right now in the 18STRONG Membership).

Since he started the program, he has lost around 10 lbs. Dropped a pant size. And is working on another new belt notch. Great results, right?

As he was telling the story, he talked about another program that he was going to start…and before I had a chance to jump in, he had decided to stick with the FLB.

And that’s the point.

Look, I don’t care what program you do. It doesn’t have to be an 18STRONG program (we’re not for everyone – or most, really).

Everything you want is on the other side of consistency.

The body you want.

The game you want.

The relationships you want.

The business you want.

It’s all right there for the taking.

BUT, you won’t get anywhere if you keep changing directions.

I know it’s hard. I know the grass always looks greener. I know the latest shiny object looks like the secret you’ve been looking for.

I also know what works…

It ain’t sexy, but consistency works. Keep doing the right things most of the time. And you cannot lose in the long-term.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve gotta get my pump on now so I can leave early this afternoon for some kids’ stuff, then some quality time with my bride.

PS – Speaking of consistency, here’s a non-fitness success story: A little over two years ago, I decided to start emailing all of our golfers (like you) more consistently – usually 5-7 times per week.

It sounds like a lot, but I enjoy doing it. And the feedback I get from the Crew makes me feel so friggin’ great.

Since I started doing that, the number of golfers in the 18STRONG Membership has skyrocketed.

And that’s no coincidence.
