I may have mentioned this before, but every Friday morning our local rock station KSHE-95 plays Partytown by Glenn Frey to kick off the weekend.
And every Friday, it makes me so happy. What’s the song that instantly changes your mood?
So, the sun comes up, the sun goes down. It really doesn’t matter in Partytown…
BUT what does matter is this:
Believing in your process more than you believe in your excuses.
The principle is universal, but since we’re both in our Crew, let’s focus on our fitness.
For example, if you truly believe that P90X is going to get you shredded in 90 days, and you can do the work (without getting injured), then no excuse can stop you from finishing the program.
Okay, that’s a bad example b/c P90X is a ridiculous program very few people can finish. No doubt it works, but any program with those drastic dietary restrictions and workouts will work.
A better example is my cousin (18STRONG co-founder) Ryan. On January 2nd, he stopped eating processed foods. Why?
Because he believes (in fact, he knows) that just doing that simple thing will keep his weight in check. And a month and a half later, no excuse his brain has concocted has sent him off that path.
And his results are fantastic – he’s lost 1lb per week. To be fair, he exercises and works out a lot, but nothing else has changed other than not eating processed foods.
Here’s the million dollar question…Do you believe in your process?
If not, then work on improving it…or find one you do believe in.

Jeff Pelizzaro
PS – There is nothing I can say that can convince you to believe in your process. That’s up to you.
All I can do is give you the training that has worked for thousands of golfers before you. So, why not you?
