It doesn’t happen all at once.

This is the time of year when I find myself on vacation taking a second to watch the sun set more than I normally do.

You ever notice that it takes forever for it to get to the horizon, then “poof”, if you look away for a second, it’s gone.

It doesn’t suddenly speed up and drop below the horizon.

It moves so slowly that you don’t notice it.

Then you look up, and somehow, it’s dark.

Losing your athleticism works the same way.

You don’t wake up one morning and it’s just gone.

It starts small.

You skip the range because your back is tight.

You take the cart instead of walking.

You stop swinging as hard because “that’s just part of getting older.”

Little by little, you adapt.

Until one day you realize…

“This isn’t how I used to feel.”

The good news?

Just because you lost it gradually doesn’t mean you can’t get it back.

That’s exactly what we’ve been working on.

More soon.

STAY STRONG,

Jeff
