My #1 favorite-ish question

“What’s after the 14-day program?”

That is a message I received from one of our Crew who joined Hyper-Elastic Distanceover the weekend.

And I love getting that message.

It means that golfer is ready to get the party started. And is already thinking about the next step to get even better and better and better.

BUT, there is also a part of me that has seen that go south too often.

And you’ve heard me talk about recently…

Too much. Too fast.

We run across a training program that checks all of the boxes for us. Our motivation is through the roof. So, we’re ready to take on the world.

There are a few things to keep in mind:

  1. Motivation is fleeting. At some point, the motivation to NOT do the work is going to be stronger than the motivation to DO the work. So, it’s important to choose programs that align with your goals and lifestyle.
  2. That is a recipe for injuries. This is a marathon, so we just need to get a little bit better every day. NOT turn into Rory overnight.

Again, I love the enthusiasm. And I’m not trying to take the wind out of your sails, but it’s more important to me that you’re successful.

Regardless of how easy “those other coaches/gurus” make it look, adding more distance is simple, but it’s not easy.

We’ll have our ups and downs.

We’ll have big wins.

We’ll have soul-crushing defeats.

That’s fitness. That’s life.

We can’t always control what happens to us, but we have total control of how we respond.

To be successful, we have to get up, not give up.

We’ve taken all the guesswork out adding distance with Hyper-Elastic Distance, but it’s still 14-days for 20-mins per day.

Simple, right?

But, it’s not that easy.

As always, the choice is yours.

Alright, I’ve gotta run. We’re heading to Nashville on Thursday morning for our annual 18STRONG Golf trip, so I’ve got to squeeze a week into three days.

PS – Through the ups and downs the past 17-ish years in the gym, the ONE constant has been change. It’s been the most exciting part of what we do. And when you take advantage of the new elastic training method, you WILL add distance.

If you haven’t jumped into Hyper-Elastic Distance yet, you should grab your spot. Everything you need to add yards right at your fingertips.
