Simple, NOT easy.

Welcome to the middle of the week – just two days away from our first MGF (Mandatory Golf Friday) of the season. If you need me, I’ll be sweeping dew and draining birdies (ahem, pars) at 6:17a.

So today, I’m purposely going to be short. Because I want to cut directly to the chase, so you’ll never be confused by the terrifying amount of information available to us these days (and it’s only getting worse).

Working out and getting fit is…

SIMPLE, NOT EASY

That’s it.

Think about running a marathon…you run in a straight line for 26.2 miles. It’s super simple, but it’s not easy.

Doing a 500 lb squat is just as simple as a 10 lb squat. But it ain’t easy.

Making square contact with a golf ball is simple. But we all know it’s not easy.

We tend to conflate simple and easy. And that’s where we run into trouble.

How many times have you heard me talk about keeping it simple? Now, I realize that may be contributing to guys who are unrealistic about their expectations.

So, please let me clarify. What we teach. How we train. And our goal is to be SIMPLE.

BUT, getting into shape is NOT EASY.

Today, let go of the idea that complex must be more thought out, and better.

And just know, simple is better.

PS – Each and every training program in the 18STRONG Membership is built to be as simple as possible.

Guys on tour need to work on the last 1%. Not you. Not me. Not the best non-tour golfer you know.
Now, get out there and keep it simple.

We’re here to help.
