The lifting heavy weights “hack”

Well, another total eclipse of the Bonnie Tyler sun has come and gone, and the world is still here. 

Guess it’s time to get back to work.  

Now, if you’ve been following 18STRONG for any time, you’ll know that I cannot stand the word “hack” when it comes to your fitness. 

Of course, there are hacks to get Southwest to give you a free beer on a flight. 

A hack to save a few bucks on the course when you play after 2p. 

A hack to put lemon juice on an open avocado so it lasts longer. 

But, there are no shortcuts for your health and fitness…or, are there? 

There aren’t any, but lifting weights is about as close as we’re gonna get.

There are also a few tips at the end, my favorite of which? 

Don’t lift TOO heavy. 

Very important.
