The ONE thing ALL golfers can benefit from…

I’m not sure where I first heard it, but there’s a popular idea going around that sitting at our desks all day is as bad for us as smoking.

While I find that very hard to believe, I understand the point is to get people off their a$$es – which I fully support. 

My biggest challenge with our Crew is that no two golfers are exactly alike. 

Your goal may be to lose weight.

My goal may be to put on muscle.

The guy next to you may just want to move better. 

BUT, the one thing that helps EVERY golfer who is stuck behind a desk for any length of time is this:


In general, our desks are winning – 8 hours of sitting will do that. 

Sitting may seem innocent, especially after you’ve had a hard day, but sitting causes muscle degeneration.

Which leads to a severe decrease in mobility – the Holy Grail for golfers.

So, a ton of guys tell me that they have pain in their backs. 

Sometimes it’s an injury. 

But most of the time it’s from sitting. 

When we sit for long periods of time, the disks in our backs become unevenly compressed, which causes the tendons and ligaments to harden.

Because of that, our bodies can’t evenly distribute our weight evenly on our spine. 

And THAT is a perfect recipe for stiffness, creaking and cracking.

Sitting is also a great posture killer.

But there is great news. 

The fix is simple. 

Just get off your a$$ and start moving.

Get up. 

Go for a walk. 

Do some neck circles. 

Do some shoulder circles.

It ain’t rocket science. 

We were all kids. 

Nobody had to tell us to move, we just did it.

I don’t care what you do to get moving as long as it’s something.
