💪 Ditch these 5 things…

If I sound exhausted already this morning it’s because all of the election talk is wearing me out – how many political experts can possibly be in this gym? 

So, while I take a break from all the self-appointed pundits, let’s talk about what NOT to do when it comes to your fitness. 

  1. Spend the majority of your year NOT dieting 
  1. Quit program-hopping 
  1. Ditch the sweaty, out-of-breath workouts 
  1. Stop undereating protein AND avoiding carbs 
  1. Focus on nailing basic lifts and stop getting fancy 

To be fair, I have violated every single bullet on that list. So, you’re not alone. 

And you can go online and find the opposing argument to everything on the list (as well as every argument in the world). Trainers selling elaborate programs will tell you that it’s impossible to see results! 

So my question to you is, “why not?”. 

Why wouldn’t you see the results you want? 

May I humbly suggest tapping into the power of SIMPLE? 

Sticking to the basics and keeping it SIMPLE leads to big breakthroughs. 

SIMPLE keeps you on task. It forces you to “do more with less”.  

What if golf instituted a universal rule that for 2023, you can only use one club? 

For me, that would be a 6-iron. 

Now, think how much simpler your next round of golf would be…instead of carrying a bag full of choices, you immediately know which club you’re going to hit. 

Now, after a year of only using that club, how awesome would your 6-iron be? You would be a friggin’ 6-iron god.
