Happy Friday, my fellow PGA Championship-watching golfer. How about Rory yesterday! Looking forward to seeing what he can do this afternoon.
Today is also the last day of grade school for my oldest, so I’m running up to the school where the 8th graders walk down the hall for the last time while the rest of the school cheers and high-fives them. It’s friggin’ awesome.
We’re heading to a pool party afterwards, so I’ll keep it brief today.
As you have obviously noticed, the name we chose for this venture of ours is 18STRONG. Duh, right?
So, me telling you that you’re going to play better golf by getting stronger is a no-brainer. And you’d expect nothing less from me.
It’s like me telling you that if you get faster, you’ll be a better sprinter.
However, I am asked this question A LOT:
WHERE DO I START?
It’s probably not what you think. Rather than tell you, I’m going to show you:
In this video, I’m going to show you exactly where to start.
And it doesn’t matter that:
You haven’t stepped foot in a gym in years
You don’t know where the nearest gym is
You can’t tell the difference between a dumbbell and a barbell
You think you’ve let yourself go too far
After today’s video, you’ll know EXACTLY how to start your strength journey to your best golf.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to watch my kid grow up faster than I ever expected.
Your #1 Fan,
Jeff Pelizzaro
PS – Getting back in the gym can seem daunting and intimidating. Our goal for our Crew is to simplify things so you can feel comfortable back in the game. More importantly, so you’ll stay in the game forever.
