As the “ultimate golfer’s New Year’s resolution”, a golf photographer and blogger named Patrick Koenig played 580 18-hole rounds in 2023.
And that’s not all…
Not only did he play an average of 1.6 rounds per day, but he did it at 580 different courses!
So, what are you going to do with your 2024?

The clock is ticking on our goals.
This morning, our co-founder Ryan clocked in at 176lbs after a busy holiday season – he always hovers between 170-175lb.
Even though he was only a pound off, he was visibly unhappy with what he did to his body the past month or so.
He has challenged himself to dial in his nutrition and training to drop to 165lbs…a weight he has not seen since high school.
Now, his ego is telling him, “Let’s get this 11lbs off at light speed.”
“If I really bear down, I can lose it by February.”
And he absolutely could…if he drastically (and dangerously) reduced is caloric intake.
BUT, crash diets NEVER work for the long-term.
Plus, they are absolutely friggin’ miserable.
Instead, he’s going to stick to what he knows works.
- Dial in his nutrition.
- Cutback on the liquid calories (I’m talking to you, Busch Light).
- Work out 3-5 times per week.
- Walk in the morning.
And voila!
1-2 lbs per week magically disappear.
It will take him every bit of three months, but who cares?
If he did the crash diet way, not only would he have gained it all back in three months, but more than likely added on more lbs.
We have to ask ourselves, “Are we in this for the long-haul? Or, are we like the vast majority who only want instant gratification?”
If you’ve ever tried losing fat and failed, it’s probably because of the latter.
If you shift your mindset to long-term, you’ll finally get off that rollercoaster.
And take control of your weight…forever.
Stop treating fat loss as a sprint.
It’s a marathon.
It’s simple (not easy).
It’s fulfilling.
It’s empowering.
