Define. Choose. Jump.

My oldest is going to be a senior in high school this year, so we’re currently in the process of looking at colleges.

It’s actually a lot of fun because you get to see the limitless options of a soon-to-be 18-yr-old with stars in his eyes.

However, those options also make it more difficult as he’s starting to have to think about the dreaded question…

“What do you wan to be when you grow up?”

A question that is impossible to answer for the vast majority of kids his age.

And a problem I constantly see in the gym.

With that in mind, I want to share a training concept with you that will instantly impact your results.

When you go to the gym, basement, living room, garage – wherever you work out – do you have a plan?

And is that plan geared toward a specific goal?

Here’s why I ask: ambiguity is the enemy of fitness because it hinders progress and undermines clarity.

There is no one workout that can be everything to everyone.

Powerlifters don’t work out the same as ballerinas.

Quarterbacks don’t work out the same as linebackers.

Golfers don’t work out the same as soccer players.

Without a goal and precise plan, it’s too easy to get lost in a sea of options, conflicting information, and self-doubt.

The most successful golfers in our Crew have clear objectives, well-defined strategies, and measurable progress.

I don’t want to get too deep into how ambiguity affects other parts of your life, but lemme leave you with this…

…By eliminating ambiguity and establishing a clear path to a goal, you can focus your efforts, make informed decisions, and accurately track your progress.

The result?

A dramatically increased chance of achieving your desired outcome.

Now, if you’ll notice, I used the word “increased”.

You can have the greatest plan in the world, but you still need to execute.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a few plans to create and help our golfers execute.

STAY STRONG,

Jeff

PS – If you don’t already have a plan, follow these steps:

  1. Define your goal (weight loss, lower scores, more distance, etc.)
  2. Choose a program that aligns with your goal
  3. Jump in with both feet

That’s it.

If one of the programs in the 18STRONG Membership clicks with you, great.

If there’s another program (lesser quality, of course:), then go with that.

Just stick with something that aligns with your goals.

You can’t lose.
