Yup, I got to play Sawgrass yesterday, the day after Scottie Scheffler showed us all how it’s done…and sadly, I dumped one in the water on #17 (but piped my drive on 18 like a boss:)
Before I give you a shot-by-shot breakdown of my round, lemme ask you a question…
Has social media made fitness easier or tougher?
I’m convinced it’s made our lives tougher.
Of course, there is some great advice out there.
BUT, there’s also a lot of dogs*** out there.
Click over to Facebook or Instagram right now, and start scrolling (I’ll wait). You’ll come across:
- Fat freezing
- A never-ending sea of challenges
- A never-ending sea of cleanses and detoxes
So, with so much junk out there, it’s no wonder golfers are confused about fitness. Geez, where do you even begin?
For most of us, we begin with a lot of trial and error. Mostly error b/c we try to change to much too quickly.
So, in the interest of keeping it simple. Here is the answer to “Jeff, where do I start.”
Just get your body moving. That will give you the quickest win in fitness that is legally allowed.
I love to walk and lift weights.
What is something you can do consistently for a really long time?
