đź’Ş The devious golf killer

Good Saturday morning, my fellow busy human being.

I just looked at our whiteboard calendar. And I have 7 places I need to be today.

I’m not stressing because I love it, but let’s stop screwing around and get to it:)

I’ve got a little bonus challenge for you today that plays a surprising role in your results.

I want you to take a few minutes today to think about your STRESS MANAGEMENT plan.

Everyone should have one. It’s one of the big health & wellness “basics” to live a happier, longer life.

Stress is a normal part of life and sometimes it’s good for you.

But when it gets out of control, it affects your sleep, mood, and your health. All bad things when you step on the #1 tee box.

That’s why it is so important to have a plan to help burn off your everyday stresses.

Think I’m full of it?

There is a boatload of reasons but let me give you just one: Stress is the #1 reason people say they can’t sleep.

And sleep is as important as food and water when it comes to your health. Actually, people have survived much longer without food and water than sleep (11 days w/o sleep is the record).

While you’re getting your Zzzs, your body is actually hard at work, recovering, rebalancing, and refreshing.

PLUS, it’s also reactivating your immune system and flushing out metabolic waste from your brain!

But stress does more than ruin your sleep. It can affect your appetite, lead to cravings, and also disrupt your immune, digestive, cardiovascular, and reproductive systems.

It can also give you headaches and lead to chronic diseases including diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure, depression, and anxiety.

That’s why it’s SO IMPORTANT to have a healthy way to burn off stress every day.

Exercise is one of the most effective ways to release stress.

It forces you to remove yourself from whatever is stressing you.

Today, I highly encourage you to take a few minutes to think about 1) how stress is affecting you, and 2) the ways you currently manage stress in your life (if at all).

I can tell you, it’s all connected. If golf is your priority, your mental health, physical health, and overall health totally affect your game.

AND your game can totally affect your mental, physical, and overall health.

Your #1 Fan,

Jeff Pelizzaro

PS – Is there a better “excuse” to work out than reducing your stress? Not only do you mentally recover, but you physically get stronger.

Win-Win!
