Every morning, I have a routine I do to help me get into the right mindset.
It’s too easy to wake up, be reactive, and get off track.
So, my routine exists to refocus my mindset every day.
I thought it may help you, so here are a few you can borrow/steal:
- Be grateful you woke up and are alive. Each day is promised to no one, so we should always remember that.
- Remember to push yourself physically. Do some kind of workout.
- Remember to push yourself mentally. Challenge yourself and get out of your comfort zone.
- Remember to push yourself emotionally. Be vulnerable, connect with people, be the best dad/husband/friend/son you can be.
- Don’t work for money. The money will come if we share our gifts.
- Have conviction in how you feel and what you do. Don’t worry if others disagree or judge. Be assertive and confident in your actions
Above all else…
KEEP IT SIMPLE.
A rewarding day can be as simple as a workout, and knocking out 1-2 important pieces of work – don’t overcomplicate things.
What do you think?
Any of these relate to you?
Do you have a way to wake up each day, and remind yourself of what’s most important?
STAY STRONG,
Jeff
