The elastic shift

After yesterday’s 8-mile trail run, I wasn’t quite sure I’d be able to walk up and down the stairs without holding onto the railing for dear life.

But, my back and knees actually feel pretty great.

Behind the scenes, I’m making myself the guinea pig for some new, awesome training kinda like 14-Day Hyper-Elastic Mobility, which I know helped me feel like a million bucks today.

As the years have gone on, we’ve really focused on training smarter.

And by “smarter”, I mean more efficiently.

More conscious of our time.

More conscious of our energy.

More conscious of making every move count.

Here’s what I mean…

I would love to tell you that I’m gonna walk into the gym tomorrow morning and pump out a 2-hr weight-lifting session followed by 30 minutes of mobility work.

But, it ain’t gonna happen.

Number one, I don’t have 2 hours. And number two, I don’t have the energy and stamina to put in that kind of intense work.

And, really, it doesn’t sound like fun at all.

Instead, I’m going to make a shift.

A shift from only strength training to strength training and elastic training because I’m a golfer have multiple goals.

Not only do I want to get stronger, but I also want to be more mobile.

So, instead of relying on only one factor (strength), you add another (elasticity), which gives us exponentially better results, as opposed to linear results.
