Today, a buddy of ours who has been super-successful in the fitness world turned 51, so I sent him a Happy Birthday email.

He told me “Don’t wait” can apply to EVERYTHING in our lives.
And I couldn’t agree more.
Don’t wait to start eating better.
Don’t wait to start exercising.
Don’t wait to tell your family how much you love them.
As you know, I’m from a huge family, and the first of our many uncles passed away about a month ago. My oldest is already a sophomore in high school. And in the blink of an eye, all 3 of my kids will be outta the house.
Time waits for no one. Not you. Not me.
Take chances. Do something out of your comfort zone. Make people shake their heads and think you’re crazy.
You don’t need to look like a Men’s Health cover model to have an impact on your life.
You can start today by simply moving.
You can lift your first weight since…ever.
You can throw away your McDonald’s frequent flyer miles card.
And speaking of “don’t wait”, I’ve got an hour window to get in my workout before my next client at noon.
