How to earn your golf fitness Black Belt

It’s Wednesday and I’m so excited for today.

For the past few months, we’ve been cooking up an idea for some of our golfers who aren’t quite ready to commit to a 40-ish minute workout.  Today, we’re putting on the finishing touches.

It started during a round with my Brother Scott a few months back.  I’m not sure how to describe him without making him sound like a bum – which he absolutely is not.  He works hard at his job (gets us all free, delicious brews:), is one of the most outdoorsy people I know, could use some more tone, but he’s really active.

He’s never really been a workout guy.

He’s been telling me for years that he wants to do “something”, but an 8-week program is an intimidating place to start.  And he’s not the first person to tell us that.

What we’re working on and hope to launch very soon are what-we’re-calling “Micro Workouts.”

Yesterday, I sent the spreadsheet with the protocols to our brain trust for feedback.

The consensus?  Tommy like-ey!

So, we’re moving forward.

The thought behind the micro workouts is to slowly get our Crew acclimated to carving out 15-ish minutes each day to their golf fitness.

Then, they’ll graduate to more intense programs, see even better results, play their best, yada, yada.

It’s kinda like our karate belts:

White Belt – just get moving everyday (like the Daily Motion)

Yellow Belt – Micro Workouts (Coming soon!)

Blue Belt – Beginner total body program (like Golf Body Blueprint – Activate

Green Belt – Intermediate/Advanced total body program (like Golf Body Blueprint

Red Belt – Specialized program (like fat loss, mobility, hypertrophy, etc.)

Black Belt – Dial in the final 1% (like PGA Tour players)

Now, you may already be a Blue Belt or Green Belt – a lot of our Crew fall into that category.

So, please don’t regress to squeeze a square peg into a round hold just to fit into this model.

Jump in at the Green Belt level if that’s you.  The model is a guide, not a college prerequisite list.  You’ve tested out.

Alright, that’s enough for today.  Time for me to really dial in the micro workout concept.

Ahh, so many golfers lives to change, and oh so little time.

Your #1 Fan,

Jeff Pelizzaro

PS – If you’re ready to jump in at the total body level (40-ish minute workouts), I think you’ll enjoy the Golf Body Blueprint – Activate

It’s a great intro-course that doesn’t leave you dripping with sweat and hating your life, but still gets you results.  By the way, we don’t have to be dripping with sweat for a workout to be super-effective – more on that later.
